背景介绍
Sortilin related VPS10 domain-containing receptor 3 (SorCS3) belongs to the vacuolar protein sorting 10 protein (VPS10p) receptor family. SorCS3 is a specific receptor for nerve growth factor (NGF) that regulates NGF signal transduction across membranes, and SorCS3 is mainly expressed in the hippocampus and cortex of the brain (PMID: 35393432).
