背景介绍
PAK4(p21-activated kinase 4) is also named as KIAA1142. It belongs to the protein kinase superfamily. Phospho-PAK4 (Ser474)/PAK5 (Ser602)/PAK6 (Ser560) refers to the phosphorylated forms of the Group II p21-Activated Kinases (PAKs) at specific serine residues in their kinase activation loops. These phosphorylation events are essential for the catalytic activation of Group II PAKs and serve as definitive markers of their enzymatic activity. (PMID: 17292838)
