背景介绍
OSGIN1, also named as BDGI and OKL38, belongs to the OKL38 family. OSGIN1 is a gene linked to oxidative stress and cell death in other tissues, was markedly upregulated in smokers compared to nonsmokers (PMID: 28548877). OSGIN1 has 3 isoforms with the molecular mass of 38, 52 and 61 kDa (PMID: 28181536).
