背景介绍
Neuronal Calcium Sensor 1 is a member of the NCS protein family, a group of evolutionarily conserved, calcium-binding proteins predominantly expressed in the nervous system and neuroendocrine cells. NCS-1 is the vertebrate homolog of the extensively studied Drosophila protein Frequenin. It plays a crucial and multifaceted role in regulating neuronal signaling, synaptic plasticity, and neurotransmitter release.
