KCTD20 encodes a BTB/POZ domain-containing protein that is predicted to enable identical protein binding and participate in positive regulation of phosphorylation. The protein belongs to the KCTD family and contains a BTB/POZ domain architecture, placing it among proteins commonly associated with protein-protein interactions. It is found in the cytoplasm and at the membrane, with additional localization reported in the endoplasmic reticulum and nuclear speck.
