背景介绍

Fibronectin (fibronectin) is a kind of macromolecular glycoprotein widely existing in extracellular matrix (ECM), plasma and various cell surfaces, which plays a central role in key biological processes such as cell adhesion, migration, proliferation, differentiation, tissue repair and embryo development. Fibronectin is usually a dimer structure, which consists of two subunits connected by disulfide bonds. There are two main forms of Fibronectin: plasma Fibronectin(pFN) is synthesized by liver cells and exists in the blood, which is involved in the processes of coagulation and wound repair. Cellular Fibronectin(cFN) is synthesized by fibroblasts and other cells, deposited in extracellular matrix, and participates in the interaction between cells and matrix. Its molecular weight ranges from 220 to 275 kDa.
