背景介绍
The research background of DPH5 mainly revolves around its key role in diphthamide amide biosynthesis pathway. Diphtheria amide is a highly conserved post-translational modification of eukaryotic translation elongation factor eEF2, which is very important for maintaining translation accuracy and protein synthesis efficiency. Due to modification, the molecular weight is 26-36 kDa. There are also some isoform and ubiquitination modifications.
