DHRS7B (Dehydrogenase/Reductase 7B) is a member of the short-chain dehydrogenase/reductase (SDR) superfamily, a group of enzymes involved in redox reactions, particularly the metabolism of steroids, lipids, and xenobiotics. DHRS7B is characterized by its NAD(P)H-dependent oxidoreductase activity and plays roles in cellular detoxification, lipid homeostasis, and possibly steroid hormone regulation.
