    1x10^6 HepG2 cells were intracellularly stained with 0.8 ug CoraLite® Plus 488-conjugated C7 Monoclonal antibody (CL488-66908, Clone:1H9C4)(red), or 0.8 ug CoraLite® Plus 488 Mouse IgG1 Isotype Control (1F8D3) (CL488-66360-1, Clone: 1F8D3) (blue). Cells were fixed with 4% PFA and permeabilized with Flow Cytometry Perm Buffer (PF00011-C).

It is a constituent of the membrane attack complex (MAC) that plays a key role in the innate and adaptive immune response by forming pores in the plasma membrane of target cells. C7 serves as a membrane anchor. People with C7 deficiency are prone to bacterial infection.
