背景介绍
TWF2, also known as PTK9L and A6RP, contains a consensus sequence for actin-depolymerizing proteins and 2 ATP-binding motifs. TWF2 is an actin-binding protein that inhibits actin polymerization by sequestering G-actin. TWF2 plays an important role in clathrin-mediated endocytosis and distribution of endocytic organelles (PMID: 10406962).
