背景介绍

TPST1 is a human tyrosylprotein sulfotransferase that uses 3′phosphoadenosine-5′phosphosulfate (PAPS) to transfer the sulfate moiety to proteins predominantly designated for secretion. High TPST1 expression was linked with clinicopathological characteristics and unfavorable prognosis of HNSC patients (PMID: 16859706). In lung cancer, TPST1 expression was associated with the tumor-node metastasis (TNM) stage and lymph node metastasis, suggesting that it may be a useful prognostic indicator for lung cancer patients (PMID: 18243191, 17028309).
