背景介绍
SPACA5, also named as LYZL5, SPACA5A and SPACA5B, belongs to the glycosyl hydrolase 22 family. SPACA5 hydrolysis (1->4)-beta-linkages between N-acetylmuramic acid and N-acetyl-D-glucosamine residues in a peptidoglycan and between N-acetyl-D-glucosamine residues in chitodextrins.
