背景介绍

SHC4 is a member of the SHC family and is characterized by a phosphotyrosine binding (PTB) domain and Src homology 2 (SH2) domain, which both bind to phosphorylated tyrosine residues on cell surface receptors and other signaling proteins. SHC family proteins contain the proline- and glycine-rich domains termed collagen homology 1 (CH1) and CH2 domains, which act as docking sites for certain proteins. Abnormal SHC4 expression promotes cell migration and invasion in melanoma, glioma, and hepatocellular carcinoma (PMID: 38052369).
