RPS19BP1, also named as AROS and S19BP, is recently described as direct negative and positive regulators of SIRT1 activity. It enhances SIRT1-mediated deacetylation of p53/TP53, thereby participating in inhibition of p53/TP53-mediated transcriptional activity.
