PRSS23(Serine protease 23) is also named as ZSIG13(Putative secreted protein Zsig13) and belongs to the peptidase S1 family.Enhanced PRSS23 expression is observed in various types of cancers, including breast, prostate,Papillary thyroid, and pancreatic cancers, and the expression of the PRSS23 has been linked with tumor progression in human(PMID:22291950).
