背景介绍
Neurofascin (NFASC) is an ankyrin-binding cell adhesion protein that participates in neurite outgrowth, axonal guidance, synaptogenesis, myelination, as well as interactions between neurons and glial cells. The predicted molecular mass of human neurofascin is 150 kDa, while the detected protein band at 186 kDa represents its glycosylated form (PMID: 16337912; 22306302).
