背景介绍

MEIS3, also known as MRG2, belongs to the TALE/MEIS homeobox family. MEIS3 encodes a homeobox domain, so it can bind to DNA, regulate specific DNA sequence binding, and promote transcription activity. MEIS3 has 3 isoforms with the molecular mass of 39, 41, and 46 kDa (PMID: PMID: 33376716).
