Product Information
KE00723 is a solid phase sandwich Enzyme Linked-Immuno-Sorbent Assay (Sandwich ELISA). The human G-CSFR ELISA kit is to be used to detect and quantify protein levels of endogenous human G-CSFR. The assay recognizes human G-CSFR. An antibody specific for human G-CSFR has been pre-coated onto the microwells. The human G-CSFR protein in samples is captured by the coated antibody after incubation. Following extensive washing, another horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated antibody specific for human G-CSFR is added to detect the captured human G-CSFR protein. For signal development, followed by Tetramethyl-benzidine (TMB) reagent. Solution containing sulfuric acid is used to stop color development and the color intensity which is proportional to the quantity of bound protein is measurable at 450 nm with the correction wavelength set at 630 nm.

Background Information
Granulocyte colony-stimulating factor receptor (G-CSFR) is a receptor for granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) and plays a crucial role in regulating neutrophil development and function. G-CSFR is essential for the proliferation, differentiation, and survival of neutrophil lineage cells. It mediates the specific effects of G-CSF through activating various intracellular signaling pathways, including the Jak/Stat, PI3/Akt, Ras-Raf-MAP kinase, and Src family kinase pathways. These pathways are involved in defense against infection, inflammation, and repair, as well as in maintaining steady-state hematopoiesis.
