背景介绍

GRAMD3 is also known as GRAMD2B, as the human orthologs of the yeast Ltc/Lam proteins. The 432-amino acid GRAMD2B protein contains an N-terminal GRAM domain and a C-terminal transmembrane domain(PMID: 29469807). GRAMD2B localizes at contact sites between the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) and plasma membrane (PM) and forms homomeric complexes or heteromeric complexes with other GRAMD proteins(PMID: 31724953).
