背景介绍

GDPD3 (glycerophosphodiester phosphodiesterase domain-containing 3), also termed GDE7, encodes a multi-pass membrane protein with lysophospholipase D activity. It hydrolyzes lysophospholipids to generate lysophosphatidic acid (LPA), a key lipid mediator involved in glycerol phosphate pathway-mediated triacylglycerol synthesis and hepatic steatosis.
