背景介绍
DNAJA2, also named as CPR3, HIRIP4, and DNJ-14, belongs to the DNAJ/Hsp40 family of proteins. DNAJA2 is a key regulator of protein homeostasis that stimulates the ATPase activity of Hsp70 chaperones, thereby facilitating protein folding, assembly, translocation, and degradation. DNAJA2 has a molecular mass of approximately 45 kDa and contains a highly conserved J-domain essential for its interaction with Hsp70. It can be detected as a band around 45 kDa in various human cell lines.
