背景介绍
CIB1 (Calcium and Integrin-Binding protein 1) is a small, multifunctional calcium-binding protein defined by its four EF-hand domains, which enable its role as a key signaling adaptor within the cell. Originally identified for its ability to bind the cytoplasmic tail of the platelet integrin αIIbβ3, CIB1 has since been shown to interact with a diverse array of partners, including DNA-dependent protein kinase, focal adhesion kinase, and protein kinase D. Through these interactions, CIB1 regulates numerous cellular processes such as cell survival, proliferation, migration, and apoptosis.
