Endoplasmic reticulum membrane protein complex subunit 7(EMC7, also named C15orf24) is part of the endoplasmic reticulum membrane protein complex (EMC) that enables theenergy-independent insertion into endoplasmic reticulum membranes of newly synthesized membrane proteins.
