B3GAT1 is associated with glycosaminoglycan biosynthesis. It plays a key role in neurodevelopment. The calculated molecular weight of B3GAT1 is 38 kDa and 19401-1-AP antibody detectes 45 and 70 kDa forms in SDS-PAGE which might as a result of different degrees of glycosylation or the formation of homodimer.
