APOBEC3C(apolipoprotein B mRNA editing enzyme, catalytic polypeptide-like 3C) is also named as APOBEC1L, PBI and belongs to the cytidine and deoxycytidylate deaminase family.APOBEC3C is related to APOBEC1, a cytidine deaminase responsible for cytidine-to-uridine editing of apolipoprotein B (APOB)mRNA.It can form a dimer(PMID:19074429).
