背景介绍
ABCD2 is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters, and is involved in peroxisomal import of fatty acids and/or fatty acyl-CoAs in the organelle. ABCD2 plays a role in regulation of VLCFAs and energy metabolism, in the degradation and biosynthesis of fatty acids by beta-oxidation (PMID:29397936, 21145416).
