Saos-2 cells were inoculated into 6 well plate at 40000 cells/well followed by culture for 3 days in normal culture media or HGF (Cat.NO. HZ-1084, 500 ng/mL) containing media. 50 μL of the supernatant from each day was analyzed using MP50054-1 (IL11 Monoclonal Matched Antibody Pair). The signal (Median Fluorescenence Intensity) is highly correlated with the stimulation time. Non-related target B2M Monoclonal Matched Antibody Pair (MP50108-1) was served as control.

Sandwich ELISA standard curve of MP50054-1, IL11 Monoclonal Matched Antibody Pair - PBS only. 68135-2-PBS was coated to a plate as the capture antibody and incubated with serial dilutions of standard  Ag11199. 68135-1-PBS was biotinylated as the detection antibody. Range: 6.25-400 pg/mL.

Serum of sixteen individual healthy human donors was measured. All samples measured less than the lowest human IL-11 standard, 6.25 pg/mL.

A549 cells were cultured unstimulated or stimulated with 2 ng/mL human TGF-β for 2 days. The mean IL-11 concentration was determined to be 2,309.9 pg/mL in unstimulated A549 supernatant, 94,433.7 pg/mL in stimulated A549 supernatant.
