67107-1-PBS targets Calpastatin as part of a matched antibody pair:
MP50744-2: 67107-1-PBS capture and 67107-3-PBS detection (validated in Cytometric bead array)
MP50744-3: 67107-1-PBS capture and 67107-4-PBS detection (validated in Cytometric bead array)
Unconjugated mouse monoclonal antibody pair in PBS only (BSA and azide free) storage buffer at a concentration of 1 mg/mL, ready for conjugation.
This conjugation ready format makes antibodies ideal for use in many applications including: ELISAs, multiplex assays requiring matched pairs, mass cytometry, and multiplex imaging applications.Antibody use should be optimized by the end user for each application and assay.

背景介绍
Calpastatin (CAST) is an endogenous protein that specifically inhibits the activity of calpains, a family of calcium-dependent proteases involved in numerous cellular processes. The CAST gene encodes calpastatin, which contains multiple calpain-inhibiting domains that bind to the active site of calpain, preventing it from performing its functions. Calpastatin is found in the cytosol and plays a key role in regulating intracellular proteolysis, with malfunctions in the calpain-calpastatin system linked to various diseases, including autoimmune disorders and neurodegenerative conditions
