背景信息
Colony-stimulating factor 2 receptor subunit beta-2 (Csf2rb2) is the common subunit of the type I cytokine receptors for granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF), interleukin (IL)-3 and IL-5. Mutations in Csf2rb2 are associated with pulmonary alveolar proteinosis. Csf2rb2 also effectively predicted the prognosis of patients with lung adenocarcinoma which could also be a potential target for cancer treatment and prevention.
