背景信息

CD53, also known as OX44 or TSPAN25,a pan-leukocyte surface glycoprotein which spans the plasma membrane four times and is a member of the transmembrane 4 superfamily (TM4SF). Mouse CD53 is expressed on virtually all peripheral leukocytes, but not on cells outside the lymphoid or myeloid lineages.
