背景信息

Butyrylcholinesterase (BChE) is an ester hydrolase that hydrolyzes certain short-acting neuromuscular blockers such as succinylcholine and mivacurium chloride. BChE is mainly produced in the liver and distributed through out all tissues. BChE is associated with lipid metabolism.
