背景介绍
Malectin is a conserved, endoplasmic reticulum (ER)-resident lectin that recognizes high mannose oligosaccharides displaying terminal glucose residues. Like other intracellular lectins involved in glycoprotein quality control, malectin is highly conserved in animals (PMID: 21298103).
