Background Information
IVD(Isovaleryl CoA dehydrogenase, mitochondrial) is a member of the acylCoA dehydrogenase family and is involved in the catabolism of leucine. In size, IVD precursor and mature proteins produced by class I mutants are indistinguishable from their normal counterparts.
