来源 HEK293-derived Human NKG2C protein Ile94-Leu231 (Accession# P26717) with a rabbit IgG Fc tag at the C-terminus.
基因ID 3822
蛋白编号 P26717
预测分子量 41.8 kDa
SDS-PAGE 45-60 kDa, reducing (R) conditions
组分 Lyophilized from 0.22 μm filtered solution in PBS, pH 7.4. Normally 5% trehalose and 5% mannitol are added as protectants before lyophilization.
复溶 Briefly centrifuge the tube before opening. Reconstitute at 0.1-0.5 mg/mL in sterile water.
储存条件
It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
  • Until expiry date, -20℃ to -80℃ as lyophilized proteins.
  • 3 months, -20℃ to -80℃ under sterile conditions after reconstitution.
运输条件 The product is shipped at ambient temperature. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the recommended temperature.

背景信息

NKG2C, also known as KLRC2 and CD159c, is an activating receptor of natural killer (NK) cells and plays a significant role in immune surveillance and host resistance against viruses and tumors (PMID: 36899273). It is an immune activating receptor involved in self-nonself discrimination. In complex with KLRD1 on cytotoxic lymphocyte subsets, recognizes non-classical major histocompatibility (MHC) class Ib HLA-E loaded with signal sequence-derived peptides from non-classical MHC class Ib HLA-G molecules, likely playing a role in the generation and effector functions of adaptive natural killer (NK) cells and in maternal-fetal tolerance during pregnancy (PMID: 30134159; 37264229; 9754572).
