背景信息
IGFBP-6 (Insulin-like Growth Factor Binding Protein-6) is a member of the insulin-like growth factor binding protein family, which plays a crucial role in regulating the actions of insulin-like growth factors (IGFs). IGFBP-6 is involved in the immune response, particularly in human dendritic cells (DCs), and has been implicated in different human diseases. IGFBP-6 has been implicated in the biology of tumors, playing a controversial role. It is considered a protein of interest in cancer development and progression, with direct relations to immunological functions and inflammation activities in glioma, potentially serving as a therapeutic target for glioma immunotherapy
