背景介绍
CCDC134 (coiled-coil domain containing 134) encodes a secretory protein that can inhibit the MAPK pathway as a novel human MAPK-regulating protein (PMID: 18087676). CCDC134 is in extracellular secreted form, promotes proliferation and activation of CD8(+) T cells, suggesting a cytokine-like function (PubMed: 25125657). CCDC134 is widely expressed in normal adult tissues, tumor tissues and cell lines with the molecular weight of 27 kDa.
