体内活性

Guaifenesin（200 mg/kg, 静脉注射）与ketamine（50 mg/kg, 肌肉注射）的结合在新西兰白兔上能产生超过30分钟的有效且安全的手术麻醉，这种组合会轻微抑制呼吸频率，但对心率和动脉血压的影响不显著。当Guaifenesin（200 mg/kg, 静脉注射）与sodium pentobarbital（20 mg/kg, 静脉注射）结合使用时，亦可产生超过30分钟的手术麻醉。[1] Guaifenesin（50 mg/mL）与Xylazine（0.1 mg/mL）和Ketamine（1.0 mg/mL）的组合，在机械通气的小牛中提供了优秀的麻醉诱导和维持效果，其心肺变化与使用isoflurane相似。[2] Guaifenesin（150 mg/kg）在猪中降低了谱边缘频率（SEF）和总功率。[3] Guaifenesin能防止Propofol在马中导致的不良麻醉诱导事件。Guaifenesin（90 mg/kg）后接Propofol（3 mg/kg）应足以使超过99%的平静健康成年马得以固定。[4] Guaifenesin（100 mg/kg）在小鼠的社会冲突测试中产生中等程度的行为改变。Guaifenesin（200 mg/kg）与Paracetamol（200 mg/kg）的结合比单独使用相应剂量的Paracetamol在小鼠中有显著更强的镇痛效果。[5]
