体内活性

Leteprinim（每天60mg/kg；腹腔内注射，连续7天，自开腰果酰胺注射前20分钟开始）并未改变开腰果酰胺引起的癫痫发作，但像地西泮一样，减少了开腰果酰胺诱发的大鼠死亡率、GAD活性的降低以及海马神经元的损失[2]。

体外活性

Leteprinim促进PC12细胞和神经元的神经突起生长，刺激星形细胞合成和/或释放神经营养因子，增强体内神经纤维再生，并在动物和人类中增强记忆力。Leteprinim还能抵抗体内外谷氨酸神经毒性，这导致了在急性中枢神经系统损伤动物模型中Leteprinim的成功测试[3]。
