Clinofibrate（IC50为40 μM）作用于人类肝脏3α-羟类固醇脱氢酶的活性。

体外活性

在动脉粥样硬化大鼠的处理中,Clinofibrate可以明显降低的其高血浆胆固醇水平.在治疗CAPD患者时,使用Clinofibrate可以有效降低极低密度脂蛋白.通常Clinofibrate（600 mg/每天） ,可以使血清甘油三酯降低36%,极低密度脂蛋白甘油三酯降低48%.同时,也改善低密度脂蛋白和高密度脂蛋白组分中的成分异常,明显提高高密度脂蛋白胆固醇的含量.
