Recombinant METTL1 protein, His-Tag is supplied at a concentration of 1.5 ug/ul in 25 mM Tris pH 8.0, 300 mM NaCl, 10% glycerol, 0.5 mM TCEP.

METTL1 (methyltransferase-like 1, also known as TRM8, TRMT8, C12orf1, YDL201w) contains a conserved S-adenosylmethionine-binding motif and is inactivated by phosphorylation. METTL1 forms a stable heterodimer complex with WDR4, which catalyzes the formation of N(7)-methylguanine at position 46 (m7G46) in tRNA.
